RAI CEMENT MANAGER FOUND DEAD

Rai Cement Limited’s General Manager, Chetan Vyas was found murdered in his home. killed by unknown men, who gained access to his Kipsitet house in Kericho County through the roof.


After accessing Chetan’s bedroom, the three-man gang tied his hands and legs, and, thereafter, strangled him. 

An unknown amount of money was stolen from the house.
Police are looking for 3 men who may be involved in the murder.

CRISIS MEETING IN STATEHOUSE

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta are expected to be hold up in a closed-door meeting today at the statehouse a day after a phone call over alleged fall out. During the meeting, the ODM leader will come face to face with his NASA counterpart and Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and Wiper democratic movement leader Kalonzo Musyoka. Also expected in the meeting are Former council of governors Chair Wickliffe Oparanya, Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho. 

Dp fighting Kibicho

ONYANGO OLOO IN TROUBLE

The detectives are investigating the loss of millions of shillings during the construction of Lake Basin Development Authority mall in Kisumu. Oloo was the LBDA chair between 2014 and 2015.   The initial tender for the LBDA project was Sh2.5 billion, but by the time Oloo left the office, the authority had committed Sh3.8 billion, a variation of more than the 25 per cent permitted by the law.   EACC is probing the cost variation in the project and the decision by the authority to use a government agency to secure a loan from the Cooperative Bank without the Attorney General's authorisation. Oloo said that no money had been paid by the authority by the time he left the office. He said he did not know who authorised the payments. The speaker maintained his innocence and welcomed the investigations. Kenya Defence Soldier Found Dead

A Kenya Defence Forces soldier was on Sunday found dead in a bush under unclear circumstances at Hindi area in Lamu County. The said soldier, before his death, was spotted running by the roadside while taking off his KDF attire and boots. Confirming the incident, Hindi MCA Anab Hajj said the deceased hung his pants on a tree in the bush where his body was found. The body of the deceased has since been taken by his fellow KDF soldiers pending autopsy before it is transferred to his home for burial.
